CONCORD, N.C. – WKA sprint racing returns to the West Coast this weekend with Round 3 of the WKA West Super Series, presented by RLV, Bridgestone and Grand Products. After two exciting events, the series stops at the popular All Star Karting facility, hosted by the Prairie City Kart Club; a mainstay for karting in the region.
With two of the seven events in the books, point battles are heating up, heading into the third event of the 2012 campaign. Point ties in some classes, minimal point separation in others sets up the Round 3 Weekend to be the most competitive yet this year. With a combination of both 2-cycle and 4-cycle classes for all age groups, classes are filling up fast, as competitors from around the Region ascend on the Prairie City facility.
Classes offered for 2-cycle karts range from Kid Karts, to Junior 1, Junior 2, TAG Junior, Senior, and Master, as well as Stock Moto classes for both 80cc and 125cc. Additionally, the RLV Sponsored PRD Spec Senior Class, one of the most popular of the campaign, and a qualifying event for the eKartingNews TAG Driver Rankings, is expected to bring a full field once again, growing in entries with each event.
Clone Classes for both Junior and Senior fill the card for 4-cycle karts this weekend at Prairie City. Always a crowd favorite, providing lap-by-lap action, Clone Senior is expected to top the entry charts once again.
The Professional Staff at Prairie City have made the track available for plenty of track time with Practice available Friday and Saturday, 9am-5pm, with Registration and Paddock Parking available as well.
Entry Forms and information are available at www.AllStarKarting.com.
