Team Valhalla 360 Plus Device Owners
06.10.2009 – Team Valhalla has notified WKA that there is a problem with the Team Valhalla 360 Plus Device – the innovative neck collar that debuted at KartFest 2009 – of which all owners of the product need to be aware.

A few months ago, some 360 Plus Device owners began notifying Team Valhalla that a Velcro piece, which helps hold the front opening of the device together, had come off. These are the pieces that are located on the hard foam pieces that meet under the driver’s chin. They are on the two surfaces that come together to hold the opening shut.

Team Valhalla has issued the press release shown below with instructions as to how current owners can inspect their 360 Plus Devices. It also includes instructions for temporary repair.

The long-term solution for 360 Plus Device owners is a complete redesigning of the product. The new design eliminates the Velcro pieces and Velcro strap. By the end of July, Team Valhalla will have replacement parts of the new design available to send at no cost to anyone who already has a 360 Plus Device.

After Aug. 1, 2009, WKA and other sanctioning bodies will only allow the redesigned devices, so be sure to get the replacement parts as soon as them become available.
