for New Castle Manuf. Cup event

08.18.2009 – WKA officials have announced two more classes that will join the weekend’s festivities for the George Kugler / Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series driven by Mazda August 28-30 at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana.

The Show Hauler Truck Nationals, stop No. 4 for the popular 2-cycle series, will play host to the Stock Moto and Yamaha Rookie classes. Offering a local class for both senior and junior class drivers is sure to make for a busy Friday of activity.

The Stock Moto class will run the Bridgestone YKC tires. Weight will be 400 lbs. The Yamaha Rookie class is for drivers from the age of 7-12. Four-piece CIK bodywork is required with an RLV 7500 YBX Can, and WA55B carburetor. The Bridgestone YKC tire will be used in this class as well, with drivers required to run 450’s on the front and rear. Weight will be set at 225lbs.

Both classes will be required to run the standard spec fuel and oil as mandated for the Manufacturer’s Cup Series. Stock Moto and Yamaha Rookie will be a part of the Friday practice order, which will run from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. At 5 p.m., qualifying and finals will be run for the two classes, with the top three receiving awards.
