Less than a month away, the World Karting Association (WKA) Gold Cup will make its much-anticipated return to the WKA family. After a several year hiatus, series officials are putting the finishing touches on what is set to be an outstanding rebirth of the Gold Cup program. With all classes having the opportunity to win cash and prizes along with receiving championship points for each day of competition at the famed Charlotte Motor Speedway, the WKA Gold Cup program is quickly becoming a series that you will not want to miss.
For all classes that exceed ten entries, the overall top three from both days of on track competition in all classes will receive the following prize package at each of the three races: Charlotte, Barnesville, and Jacksonville.

1st – $250.00 Cash and Trophy Check
2nd – $100.00 Summit Gift Card
3rd – $50.00 Summit Gift Card
“We are really looking forward to the Gold Cup coming back to life,” explained WKA Chairman of the Board Mike Tetreault. “So much so that we have added some additional prizes for all classes that exceed ten entries. Paying back prize money helps people recoup some of the expenses of racing, and it is a great way for WKA to give back to the karting community.”
With online registration continuing to remain open, teams and competitors can take advantage of the full service program. With the portal providing the ability to register for classes, reserve pit spots, RV and camping spots, RV hookups and order Vega Tires, WKA is making it easy for the racer to get everything in one place quickly and easily.
