Ignite Iron Man 60 Joins WKA New Castle Lineup

Over $3000 in cash is up for grabs along with big time bragging rights as all three Ignite classes fire off for 60 minutes of drafting and dicing at the Midwest’s biggest track, New Castle Motorsports Park, on May 14th.

This one-hour, single-driver endurance race will include RLV Ignite Junior, Briggs & Stratton Racing Ignite Senior and Ruckus Racing Ignite Masters classes, paying $1,000 to the Senior winner and $500 to the Junior and Masters winners. Additionally, each class will pay $250 to 2nd place and $100 to 3rd place.

“With the ongoing growth of the Margay Ignite classes, the addition of the Ignite Iron Man 60 gives Ignite racers from all over the Midwest and beyond the opportunity to compete for cash at the track that has hosted some of the best endurance races karting has seen, New Castle Motorsports Park,” said Kevin Williams, World Karting Association President.
“We believe that the close, tight racing with deep fields that Ignite is known for will be on full display and that the racers will definitely earn those cash payouts,” Williams added.
