Electric Championship
Welcome to the Electric Championship, organized by World Karting Association (WKA) in partnership with the Blue Shock Race (BSR). This championship marks America’s adoption of the latest technologies in karting sports. With this, we want to announce that it is an opportunity to attract even more young athletes to karting. We don’t aim to replace the classics; we want to provide additional new opportunities.

About the Championship
The inaugural race will take place at the renowned Daytona track in Florida in December 2024, with two demo events scheduled in Indiana for October and November. This championship will feature the BSR-X4 class, known for its superior performance and impressive lap times.

Participation Details
Anyone who meets the WKA requirements can participate in the championship. To participate in the championship, you need a BSR electric power unit, which can either be pre-assembled with a chassis or installed on a chassis of your choice, representing any chassis manufacturer, as long as it complies with WKA karting regulations for chassis. Additionally, BSR and WKA provide free kart charging for all championship participants during the event.

American E-Kart Championship

$10,000 Grand Prize and America's Fastest E-Kart Racer,
Grand Championship weekend set for October 10-13, 2023

Overview

The American E-Kart Championship (AEKC) powered by Monster Energy is an annual, nationwide, all electric go kart racing series. Racers compete against each other in evenly matched electric go karts that are provided by the track that they are competing at. Drivers can enter qualifying rounds at tracks all across the country with the Grand Championship weekend which happens every year.

The total purse of the series is over $40,000, with the Grand Champion each year receiving a $10,000 cash prize. Officially sanctioned by the World Karting Association (WKA), the series offers practically anyone the opportunity to be a champion racer.
