Road Racing – Rear Deck Lid Panel
(Connector Panel)

The following Tech Update was approved by the Road Racing Committee and is effective immediately.
Section 308.2.1.2 – REAR DECK LID (Connector Panel)
The connector panel (Deck Lid) mounts behind the driver and connects the 2 side panels.
The side panels must turn in at the top a minimum of 2 inches.
All bodywork may extend no further back than 25 inches from the back of the rear axle. ( same length as side panels )
The connector panel may be any shape as long as it fits inside the body work and no higher than the side panels. Tires may be inside the body work, up to 1 inch maximum per side.
Helmet fairing may extend no further forward than the rear of the headrest.
