Vega Tires Selection and Distribution Plans for WKA Sprint Programs

TS Racing and Vega USA have now confirmed the tire compounds for the World Karting Association Sprint programs and its expanded distribution network. TS Racing is pleased to announce Grand Products, their compliment of dealers and track networks, as a warehouse distributor for the Vega Tire brand.

WKA classes will run the Vega VAH Red and XH3 Green compounds in the following classes:

  • All Micro, Mini and 206 Cadet will utilize the Vega Red VAH 460-5
  • All 206 Junior and 206 Senior will utilize the Vega Red VAH 460-5/600-5
  • All F100 Junior and F100 Senior will utilize the CIK Homologated Vega XH3 Green 460-5/710-5
  • X30 Jr, X30 Sr, ROK Jr and any ROK local option will utilize the CIK Homologated Vega XH3 Green 460-5/710-5

*Note: based on member feedback and consultation with our technical inspectors beginning at the WKA Manufacturers Cup at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, drivers in the F100 Junior and F100 Senior classes will have the option to check in and use three front and three rear Vega XH3 Green tires to better serve their two days of progressive style competition.

“We are extremely excited about the opportunity to work with WKA and we want the transition for dealers and racers to be seamless,” explained TS Racing’s Tod Spaude. “By adding Grand Products with their dealer network along with our distribution center in the Southeast and the distribution programs already established in the Midwest, we have covered the market for tire supply extremely well and are ready for a successful 2021 race season and beyond. We want to ensure the karting world has plenty of options to purchase tires and offer the best service possible. This new program will allow tracks to have a smooth transition to Vega products.”

Next up for the WKA Manufacturers Cup will be the WKA Karting Challenge at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on April 15-18. Details on this event, as well as the WKA Summer Club Series at Charlotte will be released in the very near future.
