World Karting Association Announces Speedway Pavement and Speedway Dirt Event Information

With two World Karting Association (WKA) events on back-to-back weekends to kick off the month of March, event information is now available for the WKA Speedway Pavement event at Charlotte Motor Speedway and the WKA Speedway Dirt event at Iron City. With a handful of raffle prizes for available for all pre-entrants, this is an opportunity that you won’t want to pass up.

“We have big plans for these two events, and it starts with our pre-entry program and raffle giveaways,” explained WKA Chairman of the Board Mike Tetreault. “We will be raffling off five Clone engines to pre-entrants for Charlotte and three sets of Maxxis Tires for pre-entrants at Iron City as well as two entries for the May event at Paradise Raceway in South Carolina. The goal is to give back to the people that support WKA and our programs.”

WKA Vega Cup Pavement Championships – Charlotte Information

• Load in – Thursday March 4^th or morning of Friday March 5^th
• Event Dates – March 5^th and 6^th. Rain Date is March 7^th

• Pit Passes can be picked up on Thursday, March 4^th from Noon until 5pm. Pit Passes, Registration and Gates will open at 7am on Friday, March 5^th for optional practice. Pit Passes, Registration and Gates will open at 7am on Saturday, March 6^th for practice, qualifying and races.
• Overnight camping is allowed but no hookups available. Cost for camping is $100.
